Hello all of you kind souls! Thank you for navigating to find our new webpage...
As those of you who have heard the announcements will know, we have suffered an unexpected blow in that our original webpage has been deactivated! I have written to the hosts but as yet have not received a reply... (*mock surprise*)
So! Here we are at our new home for the time being on the web! We hope you will all forgive the presence of the rather high-profile advertising on the site- We're sure you will understand that it's necesary for us to use free web-hosting and that for it to be free the hosts have to advertise!
I'm sorry to say that ALL of the content of our original page, including the news archive, has been rendered inaccesible by the de-activating of our account and so as far as the new page is concerned, history starts again today! If there is any way to get the material back, rest assured we will do it as soon as possible.
Hopefully this will explain why a lot of text on the page has changed, and why parts of the page are missing at the moment- as seasoned listeners/hangers on will know, all of this web design has to be done in my 'spare' time, so please be assured that we will re-write/re-hash the page as soon as time allows...
Anyway! To the radio stuff- we've been trying to run our shuffling playlist as often as possible, typically during daylight, with a break of a few hours at tea time (to allow me to get online to tend to our page, amongst other things!) and then overnight. It varies day to day, but we try to broadcast for as long as we can. We haven't yet managed to get another firm date for another live broadcast as yet, but we will let you all know as soon as we have... Fingers crossed for sooner rather than later... The shuffling playlist is still running happily and we're still proud to boast that it features tracks that you CANNOT hear together elsewhere! (We'll be uploading the full contents to the new page as soon as possible).
We're still waiting for the new version of Streamer to be released by Ian McCleod and all of those fine people on the Streamer team and will be emailing everyone on the mailing list (JOIN HERE!!!) as well as posting an update here the MOMENT we know anything.
